The Rambler Tourney

First Person Travel creates immersive travel experiences that wrap real-world adventures in narrative. The Rambler Tourney was a 3-day 40th birthday retreat through Northern California wine country aboard a fleet of vintage buses, hosted by the fictional Napa Ramblers Club. I developed style guides for actor costuming and designed the branded gameplay elements that carried the fiction.

The work centered on team-specific gift boxes: engraved wooden chests holding challenge coins, compasses, lapel pins, and scarves in each team’s colors. Every object doubled as a gameplay element, marking membership, achievements, and allegiances over the course of the adventure.

Throughout the party’s many activities, I created signs, prizes, and printed content bearing the club’s insignia. During the event I stepped in on production, assisting with setup and playing a variety of roles across the experiences.
