The Project

Future Repasts was a dinner series that explores the elements of dining culture that have nothing to do with the food. Company, the first event in the series, dove deep into the social aspect of a dinner party by serving nothing but water, potato vodka, and Soylent.

Dinner was served at a clear glass table in a minimalist white room designed to bring the interpersonal into focus. Every place at the table was set with three cylindrical glasses. Guest lists were curated, and the experience could be booked for private parties.

I designed the website and the table, chose the glassware, curated the guest lists, and brought Soylent on as the project's sponsor.

The series was covered by The Guardian, SF Weekly, and Hoodline. The Guardian called it “the world's least-stimulating dinner party,” which was the point.
